CTMC Video Wall

Apex Design prepared the design and specifications for a new video wall at the CDOT-ITS CTMC in Golden. The new video wall replaced the existing standard 20” monitors with twelve 50” Digital Light Processing (DLP) displays arranged in a two (vertical) by six (horizontal) matrix. The DLP video wall is powered by a state-of-the-art display processor that accepts both video and computer graphics for simultaneous viewing on the video wall in multiple sizes and across display screen boundaries. The new video wall system is compatible with the Camera Cameleon software and Panasonic video matrix switch currently in use by CDOT. After writing the specifications, we provided construction administration and technical oversight to help ensure a smooth installation.
